The purpose of the Poverty and Health page on PoveryNet World Bank is to introduce work in poverty, health, nutrition and poulation recently undertaken or currently under way at the World Bank, in the hope that the information will prove useful to policy makers and analysts outside as well as within the Bank.
This website provides access to country data, World Bank publications and technical notes in this area, a distance education course, and information on the World Bank’s ‘Reaching the Poor’ programme.
