The primary objectives of the IPR E-group are:
1. To improve understanding of the role of intellectual property rights in encouraging
- new inventions and creative works
- the protection the moral rights of inventors and creators
- economic growth in general
- foreign direct investment
- technology transfer
2. To debate the relationship between intellectual property rights and (amongst other things):
