Electronic journal acting as the official journal of the International Network for the History of Public Health, based at Linköping University, Sweden. The netowrk aims to promote the study of the history of collective efforts for the improvement of health of populations from antiquity to modernity with particular emphasis on the interdisciplinary analysis of the interaction between ideas on public health, organisations created to carry out these ideas, their implementation, and their social and demographic consequences. To this end the network will endeavour to improve communication among scholars interested in the field and to promote comparative research efforts. As well as refereed articles, the journal contains discussion of works in progress, preliminary papers, and comments and debate on articles published. All the journal’s articles are available online and for free.
