The Effective Schools and Teachers Thematic Group aims to contribute to the effectiveness of World Bank education projects through a focus on teaching and learning, by pursuing two specific objectives:
- developing an internal and external community of practice on teaching and learning
- furthering a knowledge base which supports best practice
