The WWF South Pacific Programme Office (WWF SPPO) is a non-governmental conservation organisation serving the Pacific Island countries. Through a series of conservation field projects, policy reviews and campaigns WWF SPPO seeks “to support Pacific Island people to conserve and sustainably manage [their] natural inheritance for present and future generations.”
In accordance with the belief that that poverty cannot be eliminated without protecting the environment and vis-versa, WWF-SPPO collaborates with local authorities, industries, businesses, non governmental and other civil society organisations to implement programmes addressing:
• Conservation
• Socio-economic development
• Livelihoods
• Natural resource management
