Catalytic Commuinities, a nonprofit organisation and Rio de Janeiro-based NGO, launched Rio Olympics Neighborhood Watch (RioOnWatch), to bring visibility to favela community voices in the lead-up to the 2016 Olympics, to be held in Rio de Janeiro. The news site, RioOnWatch.org, is theprimary vehicle for publishing the perspectives of community organizers, residents, and international observers.
