The Gender Advisory Board provides advice and support to the UNCSTD, UN agencies and national government on the gender dimensions of national S&Y policy. It promotes understanding and action for policy and programmes at the national, regional and international levels.
Regional Secretariats are located in Indonesia, Uganda and Uruguay. A central Secretariat is located in Toronto at York University. It provides the Gender, Science and Technology Gateway, a web site clearinghouse of information and resources on gender, science and technology for sustainable and equitable development.
