The main aims of CIRANO are:
- To develop the scientific analysis of organizations and strategic behaviour, by establishing in Quebec a highly qualified research team specializing in these areas.
- To develop research programs reflecting the issues and concerns facing partner organizations, by giving researchers productive access to the knowledge and experience of practitioners in organizations and giving the latter the opportunity to play an active role in the design and implementation of research programs.
- To disseminate and implement research results in partner organizations by enabling them to benefit from the expertise of internationally recognized researchers and from a new generation of outstanding scientific and professional specialists.
