Women Working world-wide is a UK based organisation which supports the struggles of women workers in the global economy through information exchange and international networking . It was started in 1983 and aims to to support the rights of women workers in an increasingly globalised economy in which women are used as a source of cheap and flexible labour. The focus has been on industries which have relocated to the developing world, particularly the textile and garment and electronics industries

WWW has information and position about global trade issues as they effect women’s working conditions. It involves WTO negotiations, codes of conduct as well as case studies about women’s reactions and initiatives in the South. A 6-monthly Bulletin is published via Internet.
