Bosnian organisation aiming to:
- identify opportunities for more efficient action by the international community and to make practical, action-oriented proposals that promote the well-being of people
- to study specific humanitarian issues that have been inadequately dealt with to date, or call for solutions in line with new realities
- to enhance public awareness of the conditions that create and perpetuate human suffering, and to strengthen efforts, at governmental and non-governmental level, to bring about changes that will help make the world a more humane place
IBHI-BiH focuses its activities towards fulfilling the following aims:
- strengthening and building up capacities and institutions of governmental and non-governmental sector
- capacity building of local NGO’s with aims to improve their sustainability, including advisory services and technical support to local authorities and NGO sector regarding to humanitarian issues
- improvement of the return process
- making of studies, analysis’ and reports in the field of humanitarian development, NGO sector, social problematic and gender
Research of the problems in transition of social security and creating conditions for its self-sustainability, as well as development of and support to creating a sustainable gender mainstreaming system in BiH, holds a special place in IBHI-BiH activities.
