Stop TB is a global movement to accelerate social and political action to stop the unnecessary spread of tuberculosis around the world. Their priorities are to expand, adapt, and improve strategies to control and eliminate TB. The Partnership develops advocacy and resource mobilization strategies in support of these priorities, and coordinates and ‘brokers’ resource flows.
Stop TB aims to:
- promote wider and wiser use of existing strategies to interrupt TB transmission
- adapt existing strategies to address the challenges posed by emerging threats
- accelerate elimination of TB.
The Stop TB website provides information about the partnership and about tuberculosis, and provides access to a number of services. These services include links to resources on TB (including publications and newsletters), the STOP-TB eForum, andcountry-specific TB information. There are also links to information about upcoming and past events, lastest updates and useful links.
