The School of Public Health and Community Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of New South Wales is committed to excellence in research, learning and teaching and action to enhance health and health services.
Research is promoted in three key spheres:
- Managing and preventing major public health problems (chronic diseases, injury and violence, HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases, alcohol, drugs and tobacco, cancer);
- Health services and systems;
- Health, equity, social justice and diversity.
