Romanian think tank founded in 1995. SAR hosts two research centers – The Centre for Public Policy (CeRPP) and The Center for Political Communication Research.
SAR’s goals include:
- contributing to good governance and development through policy research and advocacy
- enhancing the contribution of independent experts to the process of policy design in Romania, through public dialogue and evaluations of alternative policy proposals
- contributing to the (re)building of the fields of applied social sciences, economics and public policy in Romania after fifty years of Communism
- contributing to the European integration of Romania and the stability of the Balkan area through research, monitoring and advocacy
