A pro-market research institute based in Romania. Its principal objective is to promote the consolidation of the free market economy in Romania, as well as the necessary institutions to support it.
The Romania Think Tank comprises of three main research sections:
- the Free Markets Institute: aims to promote study and research on subjects relevant to the development of a fully functional free market economy in Romania
- Center for the Rule of Law: promotes study and research on subjects relevant to the development of an effective,independent legal system in Romania and to analyse the extent to which there is effective separation of powers between judiciary, executive and legislatureCommunications and Media Institute: to promote study and research on subjects relevant to the development of the independent mass media in Romania
Each institute will undertake research in a national context and also make comparisons with other countries. Each section will conduct research, leading to the publication of substantive studies, books and articles.
