REDTURS is a Latin American network working on sustainable tourism. It originated as an Andean regional initiative specializing in promoting tourist destinations and services managed by indigenous and rural communities, with a view to diversifying their income-generating activities and improving living and working conditions.
The main purpose of REDTURS is to provide business development services (BDS) to small and microenterprises (SMEs), both family and community-based, to facilitate their access to new markets and improve their competitiveness.
