The Philippines APEC Study Center Network (PASCN) promotes the study of APEC related issues in the Philippines. PASCN conducts collaborative research on APEC related studies and Asia-Pacific economies, and facilitates the exchange of information between or among government, non-government organisations, academic and research institutions, business sector and the public in general in the Philippines on APEC related issues. It also establishes links with other APEC study centers in other countries in the region. The PASCN Secretariat is located at the Philippine Institute of Development Studies.

The research program of PASCN focuses particularly on trade and investment liberalisation, trade and investment facilitation and economic and technical cooperation. More specifically, the major research themes for 1999-2004 are:

- impacts, risks and opportunities of financial liberalisation and integration: a macro-micro analysis
