Pelangi’s mission is to form a society that self-governs and secures the quality of its natural resources and environment, while pursuing socio-economic well-being that is equitable and democratic. A strong component of its work is on climate change and focuses on finding solutions to the problems of mitigation, adaptation, and institutional development at the local, national, and global levels. Other programmes are on energy, forestry and transportation and air quality.
