M.E.S.A.10 – Center for Economic and Social Analyses, is an economic think-tank – independent, non-government, non-profit organization.

The objective of M.E.S.A. 10 is to promote a free market economy, the principles and values such as free competition, equality of opportunities, free enterprise, inviolability of private ownership, limited government interference, open economy, separation of economic and political power. The centre undertakes economic research, providing commentaries on topical issues to domestic and foreign media institutions and organizes discussion forums, seminars, conferences, and lectures on topical issues of socio-economic development.

Its activities are in the following areas

  • macroeconomic development, economic policy and economic restructuring
  • public finances and fiscal policy
  • foreign trade and foreign investment
  • privatization
  • reform and decentralization of public administration
  • regional development
  • integration of Slovakia into the EU
