Born as a pooling of existing resources at the University of Antwerp, the Institute of Development Policy and Management is a multidisciplinary Institute involved in the triple function of academic teaching, scientific research and service to the community in the area of economic, political and social aspects of development policy and management.
The IDPM offers three Masters programmes, which run at the same time and each last 12 months: Development Evaluation and Management, Governance and Development, and Globalisation and Economic Development. These programmes are conducted in English and French, alternating each year. They consist of one part lectures from October to May, and one part project work from June to September.
