Grameen Foundation USA (GFUSA) is a young global organization that combines microfinance, new technologies, and innovative thinking to empower the world’s poorest people to escape poverty. In just seven years, GFUSA has established a global network of 50 partners in 20 countries and has impacted an estimated 5.5 million lives in Asia, Africa, the Americas, and the Middle East.

GFUSA grew out of a relationship with Bangladesh’s Grameen Bank. Grameen Foundation USA and Grameen Bank fuse their mutual mission, ongoing relationship, and common vision by sharing knowledge and success models to accelerate the microfinance industry’s impact on the world’s poorest. Dr. Yunus, the founder and director of Grameen Bank, is a founding and current board member of GFUSA.

The GFUSA website offers information on programmes, on the Grameen Technology Centre, GFUSA’s strategy, and ways to get involved in GFUSA’s work, and how to contact GFUSA.
