Center is Russian-American non-government, non-commercial institution, which was founded in 1996 to develop an efficient economic policy in the Russian Far East, to encourage mutually profitable cooperation with Asia-Pacific nations, and support domestic and foreign business in the region. Center engages in research, analytical, educational and publishing activities.
The Center provides research and analysis in the following areas:
- commodity, capital, labor and currency markets
- foreign investment climate and strategies
- public opinion surveys
- economic development planning, forecasting and modeling.
The Center publishes quarterly informational- analytical journal ‘Russian Far East: Economics, Investment, the State of the Market.’
