The largest educational and scientific institution in economics in Serbia, providing both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Within the Faculty the Scientific and Research Centre (NICEF) performs as a research centre which engages in various projects the majority of the teaching staff as well as a substantial number of non- academic prominent experts.
Most projects are contracted with individual firms (companies, banks, organizations, etc.), and a number of projects are contracted with other institutions (governments, chambers, etc.). NICEF has carried out 15 macroprojects and about 150 projects so far to meet the needs of the Yugoslav economy.
The English website features Economic Annals, a quarterly refereed journal published in English and Serbian, covering all areas of study at the Faculty of Economics and trying to integrate theory and practice, since it addresses a readership in both business and academia.
The Faculty also has its own teaching centre for stock exchange operations supplied with specific kinds of software in a teaching ‘dealing room’.
