The Extractive Industries Review is a process that the World Bank Group has launched to discuss its future role in the extractive industries with stakeholders. The aim is to produce a set of recommendations that will guide involvement of the World Bank Group in the sectors of oil, gas and mining. The discussion is taking place in the context of the World Bank Group’s overall stated mission of poverty reduction and the promotion of sustainable development.
The website forms part of this consultation process and is used both to disseminate information about the consultation activities, and to receive information and solicit opinions from stakeholders. It also contains details of activities and contact details.
