Echo is a department of the European Commission, with the task of providing a rapid response to humanitarian crises (both natural and man-made) and managing the humanitarian aid granted to non-European countries.
Also supports a Network on Humanitarian Assistance (NOHA) which manages a post-graduate diploma and other training courses course in humanitarian assistance.
