EngenderHealth is an international nonprofit organisation that works to make reproductive health services safe, available, and sustainable for women and men worldwide. The organisation consists of a select group of highly skilled medical staff, health care trainers, and public health professionals is involved in work around the globe in partnership with local governments and nongovernmental cooperating agencies to help health care workers, administrators, physicians, hospital staff, and counselors deliver high-quality health care services in some of the world’s poorest countries.
EngenderHealth provides technical assistance, training, and information to support family planning, HIV/AIDS, and maternal health care in countries where basic health care needs are urgent. With a focus on practical solutions that improve services where resources are scarce, EngenderHealth makes one of its most singular contributions by increasing the number of clinical sites and health workers providing high-quality clinic-based family planning services. The organisation also trains health providers to be clinically competent and sensitive to client rights and we ensure that clinical settings are clean and safe.
