Created in 1991 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, CEAs is a forum for research, events, graduate education and documentation, dedicated to the study and reflection of major regional issues and global themes. The centre is linked with Candido Mendes University.
CEAs offers graduate programs on:
- International Relation
- International Trade Law
- Human Rights
More recently it has started to run executive programs on Democracy and Political Management in partnership with of Unit for Promotion of Democracy of Organization of American States (UPD/OEA).
CEAs is also headquarter of GERI, an inter-institutional research group which congregates Brazilian internationalist scholars.
