CEDLAS is a research institute that studies distributive, labour and social problems in Central and Latin America. It is part of the faculty of economic sciences, at the National University of la Plata. Research topics include:
- income distribution and inequality
- ethnicity and the millennium development goals
- growth and income poverty
- gender
The centre has worked in collaboration with a number of multilateral organisations including the World Bank and the UN. The website, in Spanish, contains information about the centre’s current activities and publications, some of which are available for download.
