The Centre for Harm Reduction works to bring together people throughout Asia with expertise in the prevention of drug related harm, in particular the prevention of transmission of HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C among and from injecting drug users.
The Centre has the capacity to provide technical assistance related to research, training, advocacy, program design and implementation, evaluation and policy development in the area of harm reduction. The Centre has offices in Hanoi and Jakarta. Its head office is in Melbourne, based at the Macfarlane Burnet Institute for Medical Research and Public Health.
