The Centre for Economic Development and Administration (CEDA) at Tribhuvan University, Nepal undertakes research, training and consultancy on development issues.
The Centre is organised into seven core areas for its research, consultancy and training activities:
- planning and economic policy
- rural development
- population and human resources
- management system and administration
- action research/programme
- environment and resource management
- women in development
CEDA also engages in international collaboration in the study of development changes. CEDA’s library is the focal point of the Development Information Network for South Asia (DEVINSA) Project for Nepal. CEDA has also been nominated as a SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) Country Focal Point for research activities in global issues and their implication for the region.
