ACON is a resource for the Asian/Pacific Islander communities within the USA. Its main purpose is educate APIA community-based organizations about the Internet and its use. Material is strictly US related, but some of the community development/ethnic conflict/immigration/Internet training materials may be of more general interest.
Services include:
(a) Mailing list: distributes via email information of interest to APIA community organizations and involved individuals, including job listings, community news and action alerts.
(b) WWW site: provides APIA news, employment listings, upcoming events notices and other information of interest to the non-profit community.
