The Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network plans to develop a network of cities in Asia that will have developed robust plans to prepare, withstand and recover from the predicted impacts of climate change. The specific project objectives are:
- to assess city level climate change (CC) risks.
- provide support to local partners to build a participatory forum for creating awareness, mutual learning and build capacities to address and implement pilot projects on urban CC issues
- develop specific tools. For example: questionnaires, focus group discussions, shared learning dialogues, vulnerability & capability index, infrastructure and service deficiency analysis, etc.
- share risk, vulnerability and adaptation options at various scales to urban stakeholders including general public through the media.
