190 representatives from Civil Society Organisations from 34 countries in the five regions of Africa and the Diaspora, gathered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from November, 14 -16 2014 for the NGO Forum on the Beijing+20 Review, and building on the UNECA CSO Technical Consultation on Beijing+20 convened in October 2014.

This six-page policy statement provides recommendations to African governments’ ministries and departments that are responsible and accountable for women’s rights. The statement also reaffirms the CSO’s commitments to working alongside governments to ensure the full achievement of the BPfA and women’s rights in general.
