M4P is a three-year regional technical assistance project co-financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the Tokyo-based ADB Institute. The project covers the countries ofVietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
The purposes of the project are:
- to conduct analytical work on the functioning of markets and the extent to which the poor are able to benefit from them, and
- to build capacity to support pro-poor market development through research activities, networking and the promotion of policy dialogue in the three project countries.
The project’s main components are its research activities, capacity-building initiatives and policy dialogue.
M4P’s website, with both English and Vietnamese versions, contains a host of information including publications, forum discussions, an events calendar and links to other related organisations.
