Discussion list from the USAID Office of Women in Development. Aims to enhance communication among the G/WID office and its contracting partners. The scope of discussion includes posting of:

• citations to journal articles
• new reports
• books
• training manuals
• grey or fugitive literature
• URLs to related sites on the Internet

Additionally, it will be a forum for giving and receiving recommendations for possible newsletter articles and factsheets for the G/WID communication team. Postings of research findings and program results are encouraged.The primary purpose of the discussion group is to increase awareness of resources and the sharing of actual documents. Discussions will guide the G/WID “Information Resource Coordinator” on acquisitions for the Information Resource Center and the preparation of the quarterly list for the Director’s approval to purchase materials for the Information Resource Center.
