The Human Security and Cities project was established by the the Human Security Policy Division at Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT). The purpose is to highlight cities as a human security concern and generate interest in the topic, stimulate debate, and build a community of practice around what is still a nascent idea.
