One of the faculties of the oldest Slovakian educational and research institution. It covers – among other fields – research on:

  • developing issues
  • income inequality
  • official development assistance.

Moreover, the faculty aims to develop theoretical knowledge and applies it in the areas of economics, European studies, international relations and the social and political sciences in order to develop knowledge in disciplines that concern intercultural relations and minority issues and in the area of public policy. It also aims at systematically disseminating this knowledge among the Faculty’s students and – through information media – to the public at large.
