The CORE Group, is an association of international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), that promotes and improves the health and well-being of children and women in developing countries through collaborative NGO action and learning.
CORE members work with local partners to deliver services to marginalized communities in developing and transitional countries in order to reach the most vulnerable women and children. The network has several working groups that focus on specific issues including HIV and AIDS, integrated management of childhood illness (IMCI), nutrition, safe motherhood and reproductive health, and tuberculosis.
The website contains information about the network’s activities, case studies and experiences from member NGOs to share successes and lessons with donors, partners and other NGOs working in similar settings. It also contains a database of evidence-based documents and tools on child health and development.
