The Center for Strategic Studies and Reforms (CISR) was established within the UNDP/World Bank project “Republic of Moldova: Strategy for Development” and became operational in February 1997.

Main objectives of the CISR include: macroeconomic analysis and integration of the tendencies of social and economic development, interpretation and follow-up of prospective structural changes and analysis of national economy evolution.

Center’s status as an independent, non-governmental and non-commercial organization stands for impartiality of its overviews and forecasts, authenticity of information, non-implication in politics, multilateral international contacts.

CISR’s activity outputs consist of analytical and prospective reports which are available for local legislative and executive bodies, non-governmental organizations of the Republic of Moldova, resident representatives of international organizations.
