The Center for Social Development (CSD) is a non-profit organization and think-tank that aims to promote democratic values, public accountability and transparency and advocates for good governance. CSD’s main activities include research, advocacy, awareness-raising and public debate.

Key ongoing activities include:

  • publishing a monthly research bulletin that focuses on democracy, accountability and transparency issues
  • organizing regular televised public forums on issues of national importance
  • compiling reports on National Assembly and Senate activity
  • working with the Ministry of Education to introduce anti-corruption education into the National Curriculum
  • advising legislators and government officials on the drafting of new laws
  • providing free library facilities for students and researchers

In addition to this, CSD also undertakes other activities, such as hosting joint meetings of Cambodian civil society to discuss common approaches to major topical issues.
