The Synergy Project is supported by the HIV–AIDS Division of the Center for Population, Health and Nutrition of USAID’s Bureau for Global Programs, Field Support and Research. The project provides critical assistance to the PHN Center’s Strategic Support Objective 4 (SSO4), which calls for “increased use of improved, effective, and sustainable responses to reduce HIV transmission and mitigate the impact of the HIV/AIDS pandemic.”
The SynergyAIDS web site aims to serve as a resource on programme management and policy development at many levels to combat HIV/AIDS worldwide by making available:
- country-specific information
- conference and workshop reports
- practical tools and guidelines for those working directly with people living with HIV/AIDS
- discussion lists
- newsletter
