The Social Policy and Development Center (SPDC) is an independent non-profit organisation established in 2004. SPDC seeks to inform and influence public opinion and to foster public discussion on social policy and development issues. SPDC’s work covers a broad range of social policy and development areas including:
- poverty reduction
- tackling corruption
- strengthening of non-profit sector
- justice and security
A part of SPDC’s work is to monitor national social policies, including the Poverty Reduction Strategic Program, and assess their implications at the international, national and local levels.
