The aims of the Centre are to:
- provide a focus for research related to issues of sexual health
- encourage and develop high quality inter-disciplinary research, using both quantitative and qualitative methods
- assist in attracting external funding and high quality applications for post-graduate study
- provide a local, national and international resource on issues relating to research and policy formulation
