This website presents an annotated bibliography of research on civil society and health prepared as a collaboration between the WHO Civil society Initiative and TARSC in 2002. The research was sourced within three theme areas:

  • Civil society influences in global health policy
  • Joint civic-state actions in health
  • Civic contributions to pro-poor health policy and outcomes

At their website you can view and download a general overview paper of the major findings and research issues from the three theme areas, as well as theme papers highlighting research findings and issues arising from related literature. It is also possible to view and search a database of annotated bibliography of research within the three theme areas

The site includes in the bibliography papers received by WHO and TARSC by 1 July 2002 and papers received after this date will be included in a later update.
