Carbon Positive is a business that develops sustainable agro-forestry and bio-energy projects in non-industrialised countries. These projects produce resources, such as timber and bio-diesel, in ways that aim to protect the local environment and help build a sustainable local economy. They are also designed to cut greenhouse-gas emissions and generate Certified Emissions Reductions (CERs) wherever possible under the Kyoto Protocol’s Clean Development Mechanism (CDM).
Carbon Positive manages CDM projects from beginning to end for customers which include government authorities, financial institutions, and companies or other organisations that want to offset their greenhouse emissions.
