Members of CAFRE are heavily involved in the teaching and administration of the M.A. in Agricultural and Environmental Economics (click here for more details)

Following the merger of the Departments of Agricultural Economics, Economics, and Econometrics & Social Statistics to form the School of Economic Studies in 1994, a new research centre was created to act as the focus, within the School, for research in the areas of agricultural, natural resource and environmental economics. This has enabled this tradition of economics to continue at Manchester University and encouraged collaboration with other academic staff in the School and elsewhere.
