This September, the sixth cohort of the Global Engagement Lab (GEL) will begin a nine-month learning journey, starting with an in-person gathering in Mexico. Bringing together philanthropy practitioners from across regions, GEL is a space to collectively deepen political analysis, examine philanthropy’s relationship to power and capital, and strengthen the practices needed to move resources in solidarity with movements. this nine month learning journey for progressive funders and grantmakers who want to move beyond values alignment and toward organized, strategic action.

EDGE is entering the next phase of its governance transformation, shaped by a year of collective work and political reflection. From Board Elections to the Membership Council in the upcoming Breakfast, we aim to deepen democratic accountability, memberleadership, and political coherence across the network.

The Impact Measurement and Funding Movement PODs, launched at the beginning of this year, are moving forward and continue developing their work! The last sessions are defining the details of the PODs outcome, that will be shared soon with the rest of the network. Stay tuned and take part in the next PODs if interested!
