Institute of Social Analysis is a global voluntary association that was originally established by scholars at Columbia University in New York City. Its goal is to foster and disseminate independent perspectives on development issues, based on sound reasoning and evidence. It aims to foster improvement in the transparency of decision-making and in the extent and quality of public debate.
The current focus of work is on global poverty estimates.
