Established in 1956, the College conducts training for practicing managers, consultancy, and research. Major research projects have included:

  • reforms in municipal administration
  • reduction in vulnerability and poverty of the urban poor
  • reduction of HIV/AIDS infections
  • problem and control of tuberculosis
  • state of the environment.

The College also publishes the ASCI Journal of Management. The website includes lists of past and current projects and details of staff research interests. Some workshop papers are also available in full text form.
