Network Community Building: Regional Breakfasts and Local Meetings

At EDGE, fostering meaningful connections and active collaboration among our members is a core priority. We believe that strong relationships are the foundation for collective learning, shared action, and transformative change in philanthropy.

To nurture this, EDGE offers dedicated spaces designed for community building and peer exchange:

  • Regional Breakfast Meetings: bi monthly informal gatherings created to provide members a space for peer to peer support and problem-solving, as well as transparency and accountability from the EDGE staff.  EDGE members have the opportunity to ask questions or raise topics for collective sense making, create opportunities for exchange among grant makers and pose questions around EDGE’s work and governance.

  • Local Meetings: in-person gatherings that allow for collective sensemaking, shared strategizing and identifying opportunities to advocate more effectively for transforming philanthropy. They are designed to build local connections and collaborate on shared interests.
