This searchable database offers a compilation of about 1,800 available Bilateral investment treaties (BITs). The information is based on UNCTAD’s monitoring and analysing of the increasing number of bilateral treaties for the promotion and protection of foreign investments.
The BITs search engine has been designed to provide a user-friendly way to retrieve:
- all available BITs signed by one country
- a specific BIT between two countries
